Ingredients:
- 2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 5/10 medium sized boiled and mashed potato or as per your requirement
- 1 teaspoon of salt or as per your requirement
- 1 tablespoon of oil or as per your requirement
- Water for kneading
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and oil together.
- Add the mashed potato and mix until the mixture forms a crumbly texture.
- Gradually add water and knead into a soft, pliable dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into small balls.
- Take a ball of dough and flatten it into a disc shape.
- Place a spoonful of mashed potatoes in the center of the dough disc.
- Fold the edges of the disc to cover the mashed potato and seal tightly.
- Flatten the stuffed dough ball into a disc shape.
- Dust the surface with some flour and roll into a large thin disc.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Place the rolled paratha on the pan and cook until the bottom side is browned.
- Flip the paratha and cook until the other side is browned.
- Serve hot with a dollop of butter or chutney.
